Last Saturday at about 3:15 AM, the Pacifica Police Department and North County Fire Authority were called to the intersection of SR-35 and Sharp Park Road. There, they encountered a vehicle stuck on the raised center median. Its driver, a resident, was found still seated within.
The driver, identified as 26-year-old Adam Hagan of Pacifica, was determined by officers at the scene to have been under the influence of alcohol during the incident. This finding was based on their investigation and results from subsequent tests and evaluations that demonstrated impairment. Hagan faced charges of 23152(a) CVC – DUI Alcohol, and 23152(b) – Driving with BAC .08% or higher, leading to his arrest and transportation to a nearby sobering facility where he would await further processing and sober reflection on the events that transpired.
