A tragic late-night crash claimed the life of a young motorcyclist in Port St. Lucie, authorities reported. Nathaniel Mulak, a 20-year-old from Palm City, perished in a collision that involved his motorcycle, a car, and a truck last night.

The incident occurred approximately at 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of S U.S. Highway 1 and SE Crosstown Parkway, according to the CBS12 News report. As detailed in the report, Mulak was trying to follow the group into the left turn lanes but "failed to yield the right of way to a 2013 Honda traveling in the center lane." The ensuing collision caused Mulak to be ejected onto the roadway and struck by a 2022 GMC pickup truck. Despite being helmeted, the impact was severe, as per CBS12.

Mulak sustained serious injuries and an emergency response team transported him to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 11:45 p.m., Sgt. Both the Honda driver, a 40-year-old woman from Stuart, and the GMC driver, a 36-year-old man from Port St. Lucie, were reported unharmed in the tragic sequence of events.
