The City of Phoenix is stepping into the spotlight at the world’s largest technology conference, CES 2025, taking place today through January 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In an effort to attract top talent and showcase the city's burgeoning tech ecosystem, Mayor Kate Gallego and the city's economic development arm are making their inaugural appearance at the event, which draws over 170,000 participants from across the globe. According to an announcement from the City of Phoenix, the delegation aims to promote Phoenix's diverse sectors of innovation, including technology, aerospace, and bioscience.

Phoenix's pavilion at the Venetian Expo Hall, Booth 50655, will not only emphasize the city's dedication to fostering a business-friendly environment, but also hopes, to entice entrepreneurs and investors with the prospects of joining this dynamic market. Mayor Gallego, in a statement obtained by the City of Phoenix, said, "We are excited to showcase the many innovative companies and professionals who call Phoenix home and are eager to attract even more talent to our thriving city." 

Local startup Pawport, honored at CES 2025 for innovations in Pet Tech & Animal Welfare, is joining the Phoenix delegation with its patented pet-tracking device. "Pawport's patented retrofit design brings a new level of security, functionality, and aesthetics to the pet space," Founder and CEO Martin Diamond explained in a statement. The company plans to expand its product line in the coming year from its home base in Phoenix. Similarly, Crystal Sonic, a leading name in sustainable semiconductor manufacturing, will show off its 'Sonic Lift-off' acoustic technology. CEO Arno Merkle told the City of Phoenix, "Phoenix is a global hub for semiconductor innovation, and we are proud to be part of this thriving ecosystem. With new R&D contracts secured from the NSF, NASA, and industrial customers in addition to investor support, we are set to expand our downtown Phoenix footprint early this year as we drive growth and pioneer cutting-edge solutions in chip manufacturing."

Another significant attendee from Phoenix, thePause Technologies is all set to display its AI-driven support system for women navigating menopause. "As a proud Phoenix-based company, thePause Technologies is committed to advancing real-time AI that enhances productivity and well-being for women in perimenopause and menopause. This partnership underscores Phoenix's leadership in fostering a thriving ecosystem for forward-thinking technology companies." Founder and CEO Susan Sly remarked, expressing honor in representing Phoenix at the CES. Furthermore, Mayo Clinic Arizona will also highlight its latest healthcare technology advancements. "This global stage for innovation aligns wonderfully with our mission to drive revolutionary advancements in healthcare. We are excited to connect with industry leaders, explore cutting-edge technologies, and showcase how Discovery Oasis is fostering collaboration to shape the future of medicine and patient care," said Steven J. Lester, M.D., in a description of their participation, as noted by the city's official website.
