San Diego's acclaimed Museum Month is poised to enthrall art and culture enthusiasts again this February. Bobbing back for the 36th time, the annual event stretches its cultural canvas wide, inviting visitors to tap into a medley of museums at sweetened prices, reports the San Diego Museum Council. The month-long festivity, spanning February 1-28, promises intellectual revelry across more than 70 participating museums and other cultural nuggets.
Bob Lehman, executive director of the San Diego Museum Council, encourages San Diegans to step out and frequent the places they adore and those they've yet to discover. He pronounced, "Museum Month is the perfect time to visit your favorite museums while also exploring new museums that you’ve always wanted to see," according to the San Diego County Office of Education. Lehman further expressed gratitude toward the San Diego Foundation for its support, underscoring museums' impact on broadening horizons and altering lives.
In alignment with the San Diego Foundation's 50th anniversary and their Fifty & Forward Campaign, Museum Month's dedication to unifying the community aligns seamlessly with its vision for equitable, resilient neighborhoods. As Mark Stuart, president and CEO of the San Diego Foundation, stipulates, as per the San Diego County Office of Education, "These gatherings allow us to connect directly with our neighbors and support efforts that align with our vision of just, equitable and resilient communities."
