The San José Police are asking for the public's assistance locating an at-risk missing person, Dean Asanuma, who was reported last seen in the vicinity of the 200 block of Calvert Drive yesterday. According to a social media post by the San José Police Media Relations, Asanuma is a 46-year-old Filipino male, roughly 5 feet 5 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes, and was last spotted wearing a gray and black zip-up sweater, gray pants, and flip flops.
Please help us locate this at risk missing person. Dean Asanuma was last seen on 1/8/25 in the 200 block of Calvert Drive at about 9:00 AM.

Asanuma was also accompanied by his dog, a black-and-white French bulldog named Oreo.
The community is encouraged to be on the lookout and reminded to contact 911 if they have any information regarding Asanuma's whereabouts. The San José Police Media Relations post further notes that "retweets are appreciated."
