According to KING5, Whiskers in Need, a Lynnwood nonprofit, fears for the wellbeing of the cat named Booberry Matcha. Susan Masser, president and founder of the organization, expressed her concerns stating, "I'm concerned. People do really terrible things." The kitten was housed in an adoption playroom at the PetSmart located on Highway 99.
Details provided by the Lynnwood Police Department reveal the theft occurred approximately at 6:30 p.m. last Tuesday. Reportedly, one out of three men involved proceeded to conceal Booberry within his jacket before hastily exiting the scene. The suspects were last seen driving a black, Mini Cooper-style car, as FOX13 Seattle reports. The police are actively seeking any leads that might assist in apprehending the individuals responsible for the kitten's disappearance.
The kit, described by Whiskers in Need as the "absolute sweetest, most cuddly, most people-oriented kitten you could ever meet" has never spent time away from his siblings, raising concerns about his current welfare.
