
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for Terry Lowe, a 63-year-old Blount County man who went missing yesterday morning. According to details shared by WVLT, Lowe was last seen driving a black 2006 Mercury Milan with Tennessee license plate 961BBJT. According to TBI, Lowe "has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return home safely without assistance."
Authorities are seeking aid in locating Lowe, who was last spotted around 11:52 a.m. while traveling north on Chapman Highway at John Sevier. Lowe is 5’6” and weighs approximately 175 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. A bumper sticker on the trunk above the license plate is another detail from WATE that could help identify Lowe’s vehicle. The TBI and Blount County Sheriff’s Office asked anyone with information to come promptly forward and help to lead to a swift conclusion to this search.
Alongside the efforts of TBI and local law enforcement, social media platforms are being utilized to spread awareness about Lowe's disappearance. A post on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's official page stated, "#TNSilverAlert has been issued on behalf of the Blount County Sheriff’s Office for 63 y/o Terry Lowe."
