According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the scene to find an unconscious motorcyclist lying face down on the ground. They quickly initiated life-saving measures to try and stabilize the individual until paramedics took over. Despite the gravity of the situation, the unnamed motorcyclist was breathing at the time of transport to the hospital.

The driver of the car involved was present when officers arrived and have reportedly been cooperating with the investigation. A more specialized investigative unit, the Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Team, was called upon to determine the precise mechanics of how the collision occurred. However, details surrounding the cause of the accident remain under active examination by authorities.
