In a tech-forward move designed to simplify access to legal information, the St. Louis City Municipal Court has shifted all case records onto CaseNet.
According to the City of St. Louis Government website, this change, which took effect earlier this month, enables individuals to search for court cases within the municipal system using CaseNet's searchable database. Accordingly, the tools previously utilized for searches and filings at MuniCourt.net are now obsolete.
The shift also impacts the payment of fines and court costs, which were previously available through PayItSt.Louis. As of now, anyone needing to make online payments will have to navigate to the Pay By Web feature on CaseNet.
