
In a somber discovery on Tuesday, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported that two men were found dead in the Dutchtown neighborhood; initial reports provided no identification for the victims but further investigation has since confirmed their identities.
Officers were dispatched to a residential building on the 4600 block of S. 38th Street following a call about "suspicious persons" at around 8:35 p.m., where they discovered both men inside with fatal gunshot wounds, the police department is still piecing together the circumstances that let to the situation but this incident has now claimed the lives of Cortez Williams, aged 35, from the 3900 block of Folsom, and Chase Williams, aged 22, from the 2200 block of Missouri, as confirmed by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
