
A man in Downtown West reported being stabbed by an unidentified female suspect yesterday, around 1:15 p.m. near a bus stop, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The victim, a 28-year-old male, uncooperative with the responding officers, stated that the attack occurred from behind without any provocation. Despite his initial uncertainty about the precise location of the incident, authorities were able to ascertain that it took place in the 1600 block of Pine Street.
He eventually made his way to the 400 block of S. 14th Street. Once there, was where police were notified of the crime. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene, and the man was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for his injuries, which included lacerations to his arm and wrist. The severity of the man's injuries has not been disclosed, and the circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation by District 4.
