
Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a convenience store robbery on Cherokee Street and are seeking the public's assistance to identify the individual, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The male suspect, in his twenties, allegedly entered 'Get Plugged', a local store located in the 2600 block of Cherokee last Friday and conducted an armed robbery shortly after the morning began to take stride at around 9:00 am.
Detectives have provided a description of the man they are looking to find: a black male, estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old, with a height range of 5'9" to 5'11", and a medium build, he was last seen donning a black hooded sweatshirt, a black mask, and dark blue zip-up jacket with a fleece-lined hood, black pants, and distinctive Jordan 7 Retro "Citrus" tennis shoes; the surveillance footage capturing the moments he feigned interest in making a purchase before unveiling a handgun and demanding cash and cigarettes from the store clerk.
