Manos Saratsis and Kevin Berkemeyer, both MIT alumni, created a clean energy marketplace to help businesses and property owners transition to renewables. The platform helps reduce electricity costs and connects users with qualified clean energy providers, according to MIT News.
The platform helps users find cost-effective solutions for solar panels, batteries, and EV chargers by providing clear return calculations, comparing bids, and using AI to forecast energy savings for properties. This eliminates the need for expensive consultants. "We do a lot to make adopting clean energy simple," Saratsis told MIT News.
Founded by MIT graduates Saratsis and Berkemeyer, Station A utilizes their expertise in environmental design and solar energy to create a platform that assists businesses in transitioning to clean energy. "As co-founders, we saw an opportunity to transform how businesses approach clean energy," said Berkemeyer. The platform connects 2,500 green developers with major companies like HP, Nestlé, and Goldman Sachs, simplifying the shift to clean energy, as stated by MIT News.
