A Stowe Township man, Joshua Poole, 31, was arrested on multiple bench warrants, Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus confirmed. The arrest comes after Poole wanted since December 27, 2024, was found hiding in a residential building.

A week before being declared a fugitive, Poole had been sought for probation violations related to drug charges, possession of a weapon by an inmate, aggravated harassment by an inmate, and a firearms charge. Detectives received a tip that led them to 11th Street in Stowe Township, where the fugitive was supposedly taking refuge. After announcing themselves for several minutes without a response, with no response coming from inside the residence, detectives eventually forced entry to apprehend Poole inside.

According to the official statement from the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, the arrest was managed without incident. Poole was subsequently transported to the Allegheny County Jail, where further proceedings are awaiting.
