
Authorities arrested 63-year-old Thomas Robinson of Quincy in connection to a shooting in Mattapan that injured one man. Boston Police, Massachusetts State Police, and Quincy Police made the arrest at around 8:45 AM on Monday, according to the Boston Police Department.
Robinson was wanted on a warrant from Dorchester Court for charges like having a gun and ammo illegally, assault with a firearm, and firing a gun within 500 feet of a dwelling. He will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court. The quick and safe arrest was made possible by cooperation between several police departments, as reported by the Boston Police Department.
On December 20, 2024, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a shooting at 130 Delhi Street, where they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation is ongoing, and the suspect, Robinson, was arrested, as stated by the Boston Police Department.
