Los Angeles-based Sweetgreen, a purveyor of fresh salads and grain bowls, is finally planting roots in the Greater Cincinnati area with a new location slated for opening at Liberty Center later this year. Reflecting a growing consumer appetite for health-conscious dining, the chain is known for sourcing organic and locally grown ingredients.

According to WLWT, the establishment will be part of a larger construction effort at the Liberty Center, which aims to continue attracting top-market retailers and dining options. "As Liberty Center continues to grow and expand, we are excited to bring new first-to-market businesses to the community," said John Taylor, General Manager of Liberty Center. "The addition of Sweetgreen to Liberty Center’s award-winning restaurant lineup further cements the property as Cincinnati and Dayton’s number one option for dining and entertainment," he further emphasized in remarks obtained by Local12.

The new location at the Liberty Center, which is currently undergoing development, is part of a broader 8,900-square-foot building project. Scheduled to kick off this summer, the construction will include a Sweetgreen outlet, a Sephora store, and another retail space that has yet to be confirmed. An additional 1,460-square-foot section within the new facility remains available for leasing, spotlighting opportunities for further business expansion within the community.
