A fire erupted in a residential area of the 3300 block of Paloverde Boulevard North last Friday, as a quick-eyed passerby called it in at approximately 12:15 p.m., sparking a swift response from local fire departments. The first responders, battling heavy smoke and flames primarily in the attic, managed to corral the blaze within 28 short minutes, an efficiency that likely stemmed the tide of what could have sprawled into neighboring homes.
According to an official report published on the City of Lake Havasu website, five engine companies, one medic unit, and a Battalion Chief were dispatched to battle the blaze. Thanks to their combined efforts, the fire was successfully contained, followed by an extensive two-hour salvage operation.
Despite the intensity of the inferno, no injuries were reported, and the occupants of the house were fortunately not present at the time, as detailed by the City of Lake Havasu. Additionally, the dedicated LHCFD CERT Crews, consisting of seven members, provided vital support and rehabilitation for their colleagues working under challenging conditions.
