Tennessee's own Gov. Bill Lee is slated to address the state once again, marking his seventh State of the State address. Scheduled for February 10 at 6 p.m. CST, the event will be convened at the House Chamber in the Tennessee State Capitol, where Lee plans to outline his vision and legislative priorities for the year ahead.
This upcoming address promises to follow Lee’s notable focus on opportunity, security, and freedom within the Volunteer State. "Tennessee is continuing to lead the nation as a beacon of opportunity, security and freedom,” Gov. Lee stated in the official website. He talked about a future shaped by innovation and emphasized his intention to foster shared goals with the General Assembly.
Gov. Lee's administration consistently underlines a partnership with the General Assembly as key to the progress of the state. “It’s time for us to innovate to create a brighter future for our state, and in the coming year, I look forward to a continued partnership with the General Assembly to accomplish our legislative priorities and provide greater opportunity for all Tennesseans.,” he commented. The anticipatory buildup to the details of these priorities will come to a head when the governor takes the rostrum in February.
