Valley tech entrepreneur Thiru Thangarathinam is positioning himself at the forefront of business innovation with the launch of his new venture, KeenStack. Following his successful exit from MST Solutions in 2022, Thangarathinam is now steering a software consulting firm that specializes in the implementation and management of ServiceNow platforms. This comes after the expansion of MST Solutions into a $30 million company, as per an interview by AZ Inno.

With the ServiceNow platform being a cornerstone for service management across numerous Fortune 1000 companies, Thangarathinam’s KeenStack is focusing on workflow automation and improved service capabilities. "Our goal is to leverage the ServiceNow platform with our customers to help them automate more workflows and provide better service management capabilities for their internal customers as well as their external customers," Thangarathinam told AZ Inno. KeenStack, expected to foster 150 tech jobs in the Chandler and Phoenix region in the next 18 to 24 months, already operates with a remote team and an office based in India.

The entrepreneur's plans do not stop at job creation. Thangarathinam’s ambition is to grow KeenStack into a $50 million business within five years. The search for office space to accommodate KeenStack's expanding operations is currently underway in Chandler.

Technical expertise, according to Thangarathinam, will be the backbone of the firm’s workforce. KeenStack is set to hire ServiceNow developers, architects, project managers, and testers. "It will be very heavily technically oriented roles — people who have some experience in ServiceNow. I also expect us to hire recent college graduates as well," he said in a statement obtained by Knowledia. With a plan to recruit experienced professionals and educate recent graduates, KeenStack is preparing to deliver tailored ServiceNow solutions to its clients.

Furthermore, Thangarathinam is eyeing Arizona as a key market for KeenStack, particularly in the education and health care sectors. With a strategy to craft solutions that could be replicated nationwide, he envisions a robust expansion of the company's client base. "As we start building out some solutions in these verticals, we will branch out nationwide as well," said Thangarathinam, contemplating the replication of successful systems like those deployed for Banner Health in other regions, as per AZ Inno.
