Yesterday, a chilling robbery occurred at the intersection of Yager Road and Short Mountain Road in Warren County, Tennessee. According to a social media post by the Warren County Sheriff's Department, a man was reportedly flagged down by a woman claiming her truck had broken down and then was robbed at gunpoint by her and an accomplice. The victim, who had intended to genuinely assist, was caught off guard when a male figure appeared from behind and demanded his money while supposedly brandishing a gun.
The assailants have been described by the Sheriff's Department; the female as a dark-haired, white female and her accomplice as a white male disguised with a hoodie. They were last seen fleeing in a green, 1990s model Ford truck with distinctive marks—a white pinstripe and damage on the right rear quarter panel. Sheriff Matheny has labeled the suspects as armed and dangerous, urging the public to remain vigilant and to avoid trying to intervene should they find themselves in a similar predicament. Instead, citizens are to quickly report such incidents to the authorities.
