On Monday night, Brookhaven Police posted a traffic alert on their X platform, notifying the public that both directions of Clairmont Road are closed. Crews are shutting off water to carry out essential repairs. DeKalb County has also issued a boil water advisory for residents and businesses in the area, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta and 11Alive.
"Clairmont Rd is blocked in both directions between Manville Dr and Dresden Dr due to the road being damaged by a water main break." Brookhaven Police are advising commuters to "avoid area."
