
A water main break in Brookhaven has closed part of Clairmont Road between Manville Drive and Dresden Drive. The issue began on Monday night, and emergency crews are working to repair it. Local residents and businesses are experiencing reduced or no water pressure, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
On Monday night, Brookhaven Police posted a traffic alert on their X platform, notifying the public that both directions of Clairmont Road are closed. Crews are shutting off water to carry out essential repairs. DeKalb County has also issued a boil water advisory for residents and businesses in the area, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta and 11Alive.
"Clairmont Rd is blocked in both directions between Manville Dr and Dresden Dr due to the road being damaged by a water main break." Brookhaven Police are advising commuters to "avoid area." The timeline for repairs and full restoration of water pressure has not been provided, as stated by 11Alive.
