
Early yesterday morning, a startling incident occurred in central Phoenix when a woman was found trapped in the back of a garbage truck. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the Phoenix Police Department was alerted to the situation around 4:40 a.m. near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road. Phoenix Police Sgt. Brian Bower explained, "Officers learned from the driver that after he made his last dump, he heard knocking from inside the truck. Phoenix Fire responded and assisted in getting the woman out."
According to ABC15, the Phoenix firefighters were summoned to the scene to extricate the woman from the garbage truck's rear, and following the successful rescue operation, she was transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons; however, investigators remain puzzled about how she ended up in such a perilous position.
The woman's current condition has been described as stable, and while the details surrounding her predicament are scarce, the incident is under investigation by the Phoenix police. Both law enforcement and fire rescue teams have refrained from releasing any information regarding the woman's identity or the exact circumstances that led to this unusual emergency.
