
Worcester police recently arrested a man after a gunshot went off in a building last Saturday. The police were called to an apartment on Chrome Street, where a resident heard a loud bang and found a hole in her ceiling. No one was hurt, as reported by the Worcester Police Department.
After further investigation, the police discovered a hole in the ceiling of another apartment and pinpointed the source of the gunshot. They found the suspect's driver's license among other evidence in the apartment. The police quickly arrested 45-year-old Scott Larabee at a business on Grafton Street last Sunday, as stated by the Worcester Police Department.
Larabee is in custody facing several charges, including carrying a loaded firearm without a license, unlawful carrying of a firearm, and defacement of personal property, after discharging a weapon in a densely populated area. Worcester Police Department emphasized the danger of shooting near homes, especially within 500 feet of a dwelling.
