A 17-year-old male juvenile is now facing grave consequences following a series of armed robberies that placed him in the hands of the law. The teenager, whose identity has not been disclosed due to his age, has been charged with two felony counts of armed robbery and one felony count of possession of a controlled substance, as noted in a press release by the Chicago Police Department.
Arrested on Wednesday, in the vicinity of the 600 block of N. Central Park Ave., the offender was connected with two violent incidents that struck fear into the victims on the end of his firearm. Having been identified as the figure who, on December 5, 2024, took property at gunpoint from a 23-year-old female in the 4000 block of W. Maypole, his reach extended further—a 19-year-old male was robbed in connection to a December 14, 2024, incident in the 400 block of S. Laramie.
The Chicago Police's swift action led to the apprehension and subsequent charges against the youth.
