In a renewed appeal to the public, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office has re-highlighted the unsolved case of Christian Busslinger, an 84-year-old man found slain in his Hayward home back on Valentine's Day in 1984. The plea for fresh information was disseminated via the Alameda County Sheriff's Office's social media channels.

In an attempt to thaw the lingering questions and seek justice for Busslinger, authorities have promoted the availability of their Cold Case Homicide Unit at (510) 667-3661 and an Anonymous Tip Line at (510) 667-3622 for those wishing to contribute any relevant information devoid of the spotlight.
Busslinger was killed in his home on the 2300 block of Dunn Road. "Friends and neighbors last saw Christian on Sunday, February 12, 1984, at approximately 11:00 a.m.," the Alameda County Sheriff's Office detailed in their social media statement.
