The Alameda County Sheriff's Office is renewing its call for public assistance in solving the cold case homicide of Mark Anthony Espinal, who was fatally shot outside his home on 167th Avenue in San Leandro over two decades ago, on February 3, 2004.
In a social media post, authorities have released sketches of two male suspects believed to be responsible for Espinal's death and have urged anyone with information to come forward. The detailed sketches depict two black males.
The Alameda County Sheriff's Office has provided direct contact information for their Cold Case Homicide Unit investigators at (510) 667-3661, and for anonymous tips, the public can phone (510) 667-3622.
