Atlanta Police have made two arrests in connection with a homicide on Nassau Street in December. The Atlanta Police Department reported that yesterday, Dajuan Jewell, born April 1993, was arrested on charges of murder and aggravated assault. This follows the arrest of Terrance Conner, born December 2002, on Tuesday last week, who faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The incident occurred on December 4, 2024, when officers responded to reports of a shooting at 152 Nassau Street NW. Despite medical attention, the 18-year-old victim was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. Police have been working to gather details, leading to the recent arrests.
"All arrests and photos are public information. An arrest does not mean that the individual has been or will be convicted of the crime. Individuals in this press release/post/video are presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of law," the Atlanta Police Department stated.
