As the night approaches, the skies will remain mostly clear with the temperature dipping down to around 31 degrees and the northwest wind calming down in the evening, as per the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
Looking forward to Tuesday, the partly sunny skies will see a slight temperature increase, with highs projected around 54 degrees. An east-bound breeze at a mild 5 mph is expected to set in. Following suit, Tuesday night brings with it a 50 percent chance of showers after 1 a.m., under mostly cloudy skies as the temperatures hover around 37 degrees. "Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight," according to the National Weather Service.
Wednesday, meanwhile, is set to be a predominantly wet day with showers primarily before 1 p.m. and high temperatures settling near 46. A northeast wind comes with this, picking up between 5 to 10 mph and possibly gusting as high as 15 mph. The likelihood of precipitation stands firm at 90 percent. As night falls, the clouds persist, yet the drop in temperature to about 24 suggests a colder evening.
The latter half of the week appears more forgiving, with Thursday welcoming sunny weather and high temperatures nearing 38, while nighttime sees a dip to around 21. The clean sunshine stretches into Friday with highs expected to reach near 46, "Partly cloudy, with a low around 27," as the night unfolds. The weekend continues the trend, showcasing mostly sunny days, with 51 degrees anticipated on Saturday and a low about 31 in the evening. Sunday invites Atlantans to bask in full sunlight with temperatures climbing to a pleasant high near 55, as per the NWS reports.
