34-year-old, Jason Campbell, is facing charges for concealing the death of his mother, Marie Campbell, who was reported missing on January 6. WSB-TV reported that Jason initially alerted authorities about his mother's disappearance, but he later became the main suspect in the case.
Campbell was arrested yesterday. Authorities are encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward. Sheriff Speed stated in a statement to FOX 5 Atlanta, "This meticulous investigation, which is being conducted by our investigators and forensic unit, is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available."
