
A Bethlehem man is now behind bars facing serious allegations of sexual assault, with law enforcement taking action after a thorough inquiry into the reported incident. Raymond Carpe Jr., 23 years old, was arrested by detectives from the Troop F barracks yesterday, as announced by the New Hampshire State Police. Carpe Jr. was apprehended on a warrant that included charges of felony aggravated sexual assault and three counts of second-degree assault, following the investigation of the assault claim.
The case, which has now moved to the judicial phase, sees Carpe Jr. detained at the Grafton County Jail awaiting a bail hearing; this hearing is scheduled for today at the Littleton District Court, while Carpe Jr.'s arrest swiftly follows the investigation into the charges laid against him.
