The Brooklyn Seltzer Museum is bringing a fizzy celebration to Sunset Park’s Industry City with the Brooklyn SeltzerFest 2025 on March 16. The event promises a full day of sparkling fun for seltzer enthusiasts of all ages. Tickets are priced at $36 for adults, while kids 17 and under can attend for free. A major highlight of the festival is the National Egg Cream Invitational, where top soda jerks will compete for the coveted Golden Siphon trophy.
According to an article from Eater New York, this year's Invitational is drawing competitors from establishments stretching from the local Brooklyn Farmacy to Lexington Candy Shop, all looking to impress an esteemed panel of judges that includes Uncut Gems director Benny Safdie and reigning champion Eric Berley. The illustrious event is not just about the competition, though; it's a whole celebration complete with doughnuts from Peter Pan Donuts and much more.
Aside from the Invitational, Patch detailed the lineup for The Main Stage, where festival-goers can deep-dive into the fizzy waters of seltzer lore and current trends with talks from beverage experts and mixologists. There's also a bevy of interactive booths that feature not just tastings from various seltzer brands, but also hands-on activities like egg cream workshops, along with trivia and games geared to fizz aficionados.
