Burke County authorities are escalating their requests for the public's assistance in locating Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Phillips, a 60-year-old man from Connelly Springs, who has been missing since February 20. According to QC News, Phillips was last seen around 4 p.m. at his residence on Berea Church Road, and the concerns escalated when there was still no sign of him two days later, leading to his official missing person report on Saturday.
The search effort, detailed by both the sheriff's office and local emergency services, included area searches conducted on the weekend following Phillips' disappearance. Even with these intensified efforts, "no sign of Phillips" was located, QC News reported. Among the agencies partaking in the search were Burke County Emergency Management, local fire and rescue departments from Burke County and Icard Township.
Phillips is described as a man of about 5 feet 8 inches tall and with short brown hair, a grey "goatee" style beard, and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a grey sweatshirt, and notably, had his left arm in a black sling. This information, shared by The News Herald, is crucial for public recognition and potential leads.
