As part of the International Women's Day celebrations, they're putting on "Peace of Mind: A Mindfulness Experience" on March 7, from the early hours of 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and it's happening at SoHo63 on 63 E. Boston St. It's a chance to chill out, for free, no less, with some quality guidance in breathing deep and shedding stress, as reported by the City of Chandler.
Dr. Natalie Gruber, an award-winning mindfulness teacher, is the one leading the charge. "The event will feature breathing techniques, relaxation exercises and resources to support overall well-being. Open to all experience levels, attendees with have the opportunity to cultivate mindfulness in a supportive and engaging environment," as stated by the City of Chandler.
Chandler's diversity, equity & inclusion coordinator, Adrianna Erickson, is especially keen on the event. "We're thrilled to offer the community this opportunity to find peace and restore balance in their lives," Erickson said. She's touting mindfulness as a not-so-secret weapon for mental wellbeing, and this "Peace of Mind" event is all about arming you with it.
