
The National Weather Service in Los Angeles has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, effective until 10 AM PST this morning, indicating that parts of Los Angeles County, including Los Angeles County Coasts, Malibu, Catalina, and Downtown Los Angeles, are experiencing visibility of one-quarter mile or less due to dense fog, according to the NWS Dense Fog Advisory.
Residents and commuters are urged to exercise caution while driving or boating in the affected areas as low visibility could pose hazardous conditions, the advisory from the National Weather Service went on to caution drivers to slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you, the fog is expected to lift after 10 AM PST, leading to a clear sunny day with highs near 76 degrees, thanks to a turn to the west southwest in the afternoon starting with a North northeast wind around 5 mph, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Looking ahead, the extended forecast for Los Angeles promises a mostly clear and sunny week, as detailed in an outlook published by the National Weather Service, with highs maintaining in the mid-70s to low 80s during the early part of the week, eventually reaching 90 degrees on Wednesday, each night is predicted to continue this trend of clarity with low temperatures remaining consistently in the mid-50s.
The weather takes a slight downturn towards the end of the week with a gradual cooling off, and temperatures are expected to dip back down to around 70 on Friday, the night skies remain mostly clear, though partially cloudy conditions are anticipated on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
