East Palo Alto Police are actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday in the 2200 block of Pulgas Avenue. A man was quickly transported to a local hospital in what could be described as a whirlwind of urgency and recklessness, driven by an unidentified individual in a red sedan. This vehicle was noted for its high speed and dangerous maneuvers which led to a vehicle collision before racing off from the scene towards the hospital.
While the individual's injuries are currently not believed to be life-threatening. According to the East Palo Alto Police Department's press release, the department is calling on the support of local residents. With the hopes of patching together the sequence of events that led to such an abrupt violence, Detective Sergeant Jose Luaorozco has been put at the helm of this investigation.
