The El Cajon Police Department is calling for the public's help to identify five suspects involved in a theft at a local sporting goods store. Today, five suspects entered Dick's Sporting Goods, situated at 565 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon, and managed to make away with goods valued at approximately $3650. The incident, which has shaken the community and store staff, was announced by the police through an earnest plea on social media.

In a post shared by the El Cajon Police Department on Facebook, officials have released images with hopes that someone may recognize the suspects. Having slipped into the gears of the retail machine undetected, the thieves took a variety of merchandise before fading back into the urban landscape, their identities a mystery. The post beseeches locals: "If you recognize these individuals, please contact PSO N. Jamison at [email protected]."

While the suspects remain unidentified, the El Cajon Police insist that any tip, no matter how small, could be crucial to apprehending the individuals responsible for this theft.
