Per a social media post from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, the gathering is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Starbucks located at 3400 Joe Battle Blvd., El Paso, TX 79938.
The event is billed as a casual occasion, sans speeches or a structured program, a chance for the community to converse candidly with their deputies, ask burning questions, discuss concerns that weigh heavy on their hearts, and acquaint themselves with the individuals behind the badges that patrol their streets, according to El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Ugarte emphasizes the importance of this grassroots approach, "This event is about strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the community," he comments on the EPCSO's outreach strategy.
