Summer is slowly creeping up on us, and with the warm breeze comes the time to start planning for summer camp. Euless Parks & Community Services is kick-starting the season by announcing that registration for Summer Adventure Camp and Summer Teen Camp is now officially open, with a three-step process laid out for parents and guardians to seamlessly secure a spot for their kids. As outlined on the Euless official website, Euless residents can submit their lottery applications throughout February, while newcomers to the community will have their turn in March.
To secure a place for your child, first submit your application within the appropriate timeframe. Once in, you'll need to patiently wait for a notification by email to confirm your enrollment. Upon receiving the confirmation, a non-refundable $10 deposit per week of camp will then need to be promptly paid before the camps commence this summer. The City of Euless appears fully committed to making sure kids have a wonderful and memorable summer, as gleaned through their statement, "We want all children to have fun this summer, and we look forward to the memories we will make."
Here are the key dates to remember for the application process: From February 1 to February 28, parents of returning residents can submit their applications. For those new to the Euless community, the window to apply opens on March 1 and closes on March 31. If you happen to miss these deadlines, don't let that deter you. There's an open enrollment period running from April 1 to May 30, providing an additional chance to participate in the lottery system. All the necessary information for registration can be found on the Parks & Community Services page or by calling 817-685-1666 for those preferring to speak directly with a staff member.
