Reports on the crime, which took place during the early hours on Sunday, suggest that the suspect gained entry to Tenpenny's residence at 3919 Germania Street between midnight and 6 a.m.; it was only later that morning that her body was discovered, prompting law enforcement to involve BCI in what has been established as a murder investigation, now they are extending a call to any person who might have seen something or someone who might have surveillance footage.
Investigators have provided details about the suspect, describing him as a male who likely sustained physical injuries during the crime, indicating that he may have cuts or bruises on his hands, wrists, forearms, or potentially even his face. This information was disclosed in hopes that someone might recognize or might have encountered an individual with such injuries around the time of the murder, according to a statement from the Attorney General's Office.
