Revathi Advaithi, Flex CEO and board member at Uber, recently paid almost $10 million for new digs in Monte Sereno. This substantial real estate move, reported by Biz Journals, found Advaithi and her husband, venture capital partner Jeevan Mulgund, securing a property boasting five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a spread of luxury amenities over 1.49 acres. Notably, the purchase price was $1.18 million short of the listing, a not-too-shabby negotiation.

The eco-conscious Silicon Valley home, described by Compass, is solar-powered and features polished concrete floors with radiant heating and retractable glass walls. The outdoor offers an infinity-edge pool and spa and an outdoor kitchen, among other leisure spaces. In addition to the main residence, a separate 2-bed/1bath guest house sits on the property, and for the car enthusiast, there's both a 3-car garage and a detached 1-car garage.

A confirmed sense of luxury runs through the just-acquired estate. According to the Compass listing, the property's primary suite triumphs with retractable glass walls that open up to a private terrace, ensuring no visual barriers between the outdoors and in. Selling agents George Montanari of Compass and C.T. Harris of Christie's International Real Estate Sereno facilitated the transaction. Found recorded in the Santa Clara County Clerk Recorder's files, the previous owners, Juergen and Meifang Buchsteiner, passed on the keys to the 4,445 square foot Silicon Valley stunner. Neither Flex nor the agents involved have provided comments regarding the sale. Advaithi's acquisition of the Lexington Drive property, it appears, has left the school district of Los Gatos with a new pupil in the strictest sense of high-end homeownership.
