
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has apprehended Diane Jordan Foster, 60, on charges of Malice Murder and Exploitation and Intimidation of a Disabled Adult following the death of her husband, Joe Marvin Foster, 64. According to a statement from the GBI, on January 30, Joe Foster was discovered deceased in his home in Greensboro, GA, by his wife. The Greene County Sheriff's Office then requested the GBI to take over the investigation on February 13.
The autopsy conducted at the GBI crime lab unearthed injuries that could not be immediately explained; this advanced the case from a simple death inquiry to something murkier, and through further examination, investigators deduced that Diane Foster inflicted the fatal injuries upon her husband the inquiry, driven by the discovery of these injuries, pivoted from a routine death investigation to a grave suspicion that settled upon the deceased man's spouse. Diane Foster was subsequently booked into the Greene County Jail while the investigation presses forward.
