
A group of masked males carried out a strong-arm robbery behind the Hoyt’s Cinema in Linthicum, police said. The victim, a 27-year-old man, reported being accosted by the five suspects, who then assaulted him and stole his cash along with personal items.
The incident occurred last Saturday around 8:30 p.m., according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. Following the assault, the victim received medical attention at a nearby hospital for minor injuries, and he has since been reported stable. Officials have confirmed that no weapons were displayed during the robbery.
Local detectives are actively investigating the crime and urging anyone with information to come forward. Sources close to the investigation disclosed that the suspects were all wearing dark clothing and ski masks, making identification challenging.
