
A grim discovery in Southeast Portland has led to a homicide investigation after a man was found deceased in a travel trailer. KOIN reports that the Portland Police Bureau responded to the scene near Southeast 84th Avenue and Southeast Insley Street last night, where the body was found shortly before 9:15 p.m.
The Portland Police Bureau Homicide Unit has not disclosed the cause of death, the deceased man remains unidentified publicly, and no suspects have been detained, according to a KATU photojournalist who arrived at the scene this morning to find the area still cordoned off with police tape as the investigation proceeded.
KPTV has confirmed that initially, no arrests were made following the discovery of the man's body, and the police did not comment on whether they are currently interviewing any potential witnesses or individuals of interest in relation to the case.
