The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to the public seeking assistance in locating Randy Foland, a 68-year-old man reported missing since Thursday. According to a statement obtained by WVLT, Foland was last seen walking on Scarlett Road in Dandridge, and concerns are rising with each passing day.
Described by deputies as 5′6″ tall and weighing 125 pounds, Foland's disappearance adds to the troubling statistic reported by WATE that, on average in Tennessee, nearly 400 people go missing each year.
Local authorities are urging anyone with information about Randy Foland's whereabouts to immediately contact Jefferson County Central Dispatch at 865-475-6855 or the JCSO at 865-397-9411 extension 1102. This plea for public support has been echoed across social platforms, including a post by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office on their official Facebook page which you can view here.
