Authorities are actively seeking 19-year-old Tyzeek Wallace in connection with a shooting that turned fatal at the Pinnacle Park Apartments in Knoxville. The Knoxville Police Department responded to the incident yesterday afternoon, where officers discovered 21-year-old victim, Christopher Taylor, suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to a statement from the Knoxville Police Department, the shooting occurred around 3:15 p.m. After the victim was transported to UT Medical Center, he did not survive the injuries and was pronounced dead. In the ongoing investigation, authorities quickly managed to associate the suspect with an Infiniti sedan, which is said to belong to Wallace. The police have since proceeded to charge him with second-degree murder, but the exact motive behind the shooting continues to be looked into.
Efforts to locate Wallace have been unsuccessful. The police have released photos of Wallace and the Infiniti he is believed to be driving, requesting the public to provide any information. The East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for tips leading to an arrest and is accepting anonymous information at 865-215-7165.
