In a Facebook post yesterday, officials highlighted that these incidents have been occurring over the past week at apartment complexes along Sutherland Avenue. Acting in the dead of night, the opportunistic perpetrators have apparently found easy pickings, simply walking up and pilfering valuables from vehicles whose owners may have forgotten to lock the doors. The police are asking community members to come together, bolster vigilance, and ensure their belongings remain secure.
