Residents of the 1700 Block of Pine St. in Livermore were awakened yesterday morning to the distressing sight of a one-story house engulfed in flames. The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) received the call at 0238 hrs and quickly dispatched units to the scene. Upon arrival, fire personnel encountered "heavy fire conditions, " spreading the blaze to an adjacent residence.

Two of the home's occupants were discovered on the front porch, clearly in need of immediate medical attention. An additional person was initially reported missing, escalating the urgency of the firefighters' response. As firefighters tackled the inferno, a second alarm was raised, and additional ambulances were called to assist the victims. The LPFD extinguished the blaze in roughly 30 minutes, preventing further loss and devastation.

The two individuals on the porch received treatment from Falck ambulance personnel and were released on-site without needing hospitalization. The missing occupant's safety was later secured and found unharmed at a friend’s house.
