A man has been taken into custody on accusations of sending death threats via social media to Hunter Pollack, the brother of Meadow Pollack who was tragically killed in the 2018 Parkland school shooting. Bryan Sajous, aged 27, is alleged to have consistently harassed Hunter with messages such as "You’re gonna die" and "I send you to your dead sister," as reported by WSVN. This arrest surfaces just days before the seventh anniversary of the Parkland massacre.

During a bond court hearing that took place yesterday, Hunter Pollack expressed his longstanding fear resulting from these messages. "To be receiving threats and unsolicited messages from someone that he was going to kill me and put me with my sister is very concerning, I feel very threatened, not only do I need to protect myself, I do need to protect my family," Hunter Pollack said in a statement, according to NBC Miami.

According to authorities, Sajous is accused of using various social media accounts quickly to convey his threats to Hunter. He is charged with one count of aggravated stalking after an injunction for protection and one count of intimidation -- write, send a threat to kill or injure. The court has set Sajous's bond at $500,000 for each of the two counts, and he is required to be fitted with an ankle monitor if released.

Hunter's attorney, Eric Schwartzreich, echoed the gravity of the situation. "It’s scary, it’s concerning, and Hunter is not only scared for himself, he’s scared for his father and his mother, his whole family," Schwartzreich stated, as highlighted by WSVN
