Earlier this morning, a crash occurred at 644 Eugenia Pl NW in Atlanta. A red Ford pickup truck was found wrecked between two homes, with one house sustaining minor damage. The Atlanta Police Department responded to the scene around 3:10 am after reports of a single-vehicle accident.

Officers found an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat. They attempted to revive him using sternum rubs, chest compressions, and Narcan, a medication for opioid overdoses. Despite their efforts and those of emergency medical services, the man was pronounced dead at 4:02 am.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office is investigating the cause of death. While the cause of the crash and the man’s death remain unclear, the investigation is ongoing. The Atlanta Police Department continues to look into factors that may have contributed to the accident.
