The City of Maple Grove is putting out the call for civic-minded citizens to become a part of shaping the community's future of transit and mobility. The newly established Transit and Mobility Committee is seeking five Maple Grove residents ready to dive into discussions around improving ways to walk, bike, roll, and navigate the transit systems in the city, according to the City of Maple Grove.
Anyone interested in contributing to initiatives that shape Maple Grove's movement landscape has until Thursday, February 27 to throw their hat into the ring, as announced on the city's official social media.
Applications can be submitted online or those needing a print copy can ring up the city at 763-494-6010. The aim of the committee is to advise on and bolster strategies for getting around that are efficient, sustainable, and accessible. "This is your chance to help improve how we get around town," the City of Maple Grove stated.
